I have been a MOE trained school teacher for more than 30 years and also giving A and O level chemistry tuition for many years. I am now a full-time tutor. I have developed effective teaching learning strategies that help students learn and internalize concepts easier and which they apply them to answer exam questions better. I have taught students from RJC, VJC, HCJC, CJC..etc. I am an enthusiastic teacher and I find it a joy to teach and help students achieve academically. Many of my students have improve their grades from fail S or U in chemistry to Bs and As My JC and secondary students find my explanation more enlightening and has applied them effectively to do well their examinations. In 2019, my secondary school students have scored well in their exams, many has score A for their chemistry and physics and some even achieve top in their cohort for secondary chemistry and physics. In 2019 2 of my 3 of my JC2 students from RJC and VJC scored A grade for H2 chemistry in the GCE A level examination after getting their results this year, improving from a U grade and E grade respectively. Another student who engages me after her perlims exam have improved from U grade to C grade after a few weeks to her GCE A level exams. Below are the feed back from some of my students Lucas from VJC scoring A grade in H2 chemistry in 2019 GCE A level exam improved from E grade . Mr Lim tutored me in Chemistry starting from august and in that short period of time before my A Levels, Mr Lim helped bring my Chemistry Grades from an E grade in prelims to an A grade in GCE A Levels examinations and I have Mr Lim to thank for his years of experience and knowledge and in chemistry. After taking another JC2 student from YIJC he scored C grade in his prelims exam in H2 chemistry up from E grade. My IB year 12 student from ACS (Independent) scored grade 6 in HL chemistry for her prelims examination improved from grade 4 in year 11. My student sec 3 Nan Hua high and SCGS school scored A grade in pure chemistry for all their written term tests after tutoring them from the beginning of the year. My sec 4 student from changat Changi secondary scored over 80% for both his pure physics and pure chemistry in his prelims. My other sec 4 student from Yuan Ching sec sch also scored A grade for his science phy/chem during his prelims exam for the first time in his secondary school life. My student from Hai Sing Catholic High scored A1 for his Science chemistry and an overall A2 in Phys/chem for his term tests. My other student from Catholic sec sch scored A for his pure physics and A2 for his pure chemistry after a few months tutoring him. I have develop different teaching strategies to cater to different student's learning style to maximise their learning to perform well in their assessments and examinations. I cultivate good working relationships with my students and their parents to help them understand the different learning abilities and give them feedback on their progress. I can commit to tutoring the student, throughout the whole year and I have not been sick for last 5 to 6 years consecutively because I have a healthy life style, I will not absent myself throughout the whole of the tutoring stint till the student finishes his/her education. I will help student to the best of my ability and my past students can testify of that. I am committed to doing notes and worksheets to help my students excel in their studies.

I am a retired Polytechnic Senior Lecturer . I was Lecturing Students from School of Electronics engineering, School Mechanical & production Engineering, School of Business. I have more then 15 years private tuition experience ( group and individual ) to O level, A level & IGCSE students. The subjects were Physics, A maths , E Maths, mathematics, Electronics , Computing, lower secondary Mathematics & Science. All students obtained A2 and above grades except two students with B3. I obtained certificates of Practical Counselling . Another certificate on students with Special Needs. I am patience and approachable. My main problem I objective is to help build students confidence, elevate their self esteem , Encourage them to learn independently. Succeeded in converting students grade from failed to A2 minimum. Students looking forward to my lesson which focus on experiential learning methodology.
