Current occupation: medical social worker in a community hospital.
Currently, I am working part time as a medical social worker. I need to adopt a broad and deep perspective of political, economic, sociocultural, technological and legal issues in order to advocate for the clients.

I supervise NUS social work undergraduate interns during their 10 weeks placement at the hospital. This includes assessing their weekly journals and helping them in their oral presentation.

Tutoring students in humanities
I am able to help the student make relevant and practical connections between the macro factors and micro issues of daily lives. This makes the history and social studies lessons come alive and interesting.

Tutoring upper primary school students
I am experienced and specialized in coaching upper primary school students in English, especially in situational and continuous writing. I try to make the lessons fun and interesting through games, quizzes and humorous stories. I use relevant short readings and stories to capture the student's interest and help cultivate interest in reading to develop their vocabulary and skills in creative writing. I also make use of these short readings as a platform to sharpen the student's skill in clear, critical and creative thinking so that they can communicate themselves confidently. This will help to prepare them for situational, continuous and creative writing.
