Experience
I have had experience teaching primary school students at lakeside student care centre and I am very patient with students and will try my best to make lessons engaging. I also believe in understanding concepts rather than blind memorising and I will thus try my best to get the students to understand concepts. I will also teach my student many study techniques that have helped me immensely such as the use of mnemonics and active recall techniques. I can also plan study schedules for the students if they require that. In terms of grades, I am also confident in the subjects I would like to teach as I have achieved As for these subjects be it in school exams or the actual PSLE or O levels. In terms of junior college assignments, I am extremely passionate in Economics and Geography and I have done well consistently in these two subjects in my school exams. I also have specialised notes for these subjects. However, since the A level results are not out yet, I can provide my school results instead.
Commitment
I can start ASAP and will try to complete a student’s full academic year. Ideally I would I also be able to follow up with the student after a year if they would like that.

I love to teach.I teach with patience making sure that my students understand the concepts before I move on to the next unit.Usually,I will ask students to explain to me as to ensure they understand.Students learn from textbooks,test papers and assessment books.At times,I provide additional notes if needed.I help students to gain confidence in the subject and reach their potential.I am dedicated n motivating,always encouraging them to put in their best skills effort to excel. I have 11 tutees currently. I teach students from Primary 1 to Primary 6 English,Maths and Science. I teach students from Sec 1 to Sec 5 E Maths n A Maths I take my classes seriously,they usually improve in their grades within month. Students find my teaching interesting n enjoy my classes. I do teach a few special needs students before. I can provide testimonials from parents.
I can commit as soon as possible and for long term. Usually,I teach my students from their primary level until they complete their O Level exam.I am always punctual for all the classes.I never miss classes.

I also tracked and analysed their results to identify students’ strengths and weaknesses, and then came up with strategies to help them improve. *Teaching style:* - Language is skill and not content-based, so I like to teach with both good examples and non-examples, and give students clear criteria to identify and produce good pieces of work. After teaching those criteria, I will get students to do constant practice to get the hang of using them to produce good work.
