Experience

I am a JC tutor, currently teaching General Paper and Project Work, with experience in Secondary school Social Studies, English and Literature. I did my A levels overseas before getting a scholarship to study in Singapore, where I completed my Masters. I am familiar with different assessment practices and have specialised in teaching argumentative writing and comprehension skills. I believe in teaching strategies that are tailored for students’ needs and my strategies have worked very well over time, being able to ensure a 60% A & B pass rate on average for my classes. The private students I tutor for GP have this far passed with flying colours and scored A for GP.

Commitment

I can start from January 2018 onwards and am free after 4pm from Monday to Friday and in the morning on Saturday.
