Experience
As a current Biological Sciences undergraduate at NTU, I bring both passion and expertise to the subject of biology. My academic background includes comprehensive coursework in biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics and biophysics. This rigorous training has provided me with a solid foundation in biology and a profound appreciation for the connections between the foundational content of the H2 Biology syllabus and the more advanced concepts taught at the undergraduate level. My commitment to academic excellence and professional approach ensures that students can trust in my ability to guide them towards achieving their academic goals. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I volunteered as a tutor, teaching H2 Biology to four mentees from my JC. In this role, I clarified conceptual misunderstandings and taught essential question analysis and answering techniques to excel in exams. My efforts resulted in grade improvements of up to three grades for my mentees. My academic aptitude is further demonstrated by my achievements at NTU, where I have been placed on the Dean's List. As a JC student, I consistently scored A's in all internal examinations and at the A Levels. Additionally, I had also achieved Merit in H3 NTU Molecular Biology. These accomplishments showcase my deep understanding of the syllabus content and the skills required to excel in H2 Biology. I am dedicated to helping my students succeed. I am a full-time tutor who specializes in teaching Mathematics to Secondary School students. I believe that the most important requirements of a tutor are the commitment and attitude towards imparting important knowledge and approach to problem solving to my students, to improve their grades and to increase their confidence in solving problems. This will in turn increase their motivation to work hard. My previous students, who included students from Top schools, gave me feedback that they had benefitted from the tuition given, once I had taught them and went through the concepts and applications with them.
