Hi! My name is Kee Guan, graduated from RVHS, and going into NTU computer science, and I am passionate about sharing knowledge and empowering students to achieve their fullest potential. With a strong foundation in both the sciences and humanities, I bring a well-rounded, adaptable, and empathetic approach to teaching. Academic Background and Achievements I am currently pursuing PCME (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Economics) at the H2 level, with grades of A. My academic journey has been marked by excellence, as evidenced by receiving the Edusave Excellence Award in 2023 and being selected to represent my school as the head of UNEP at a MUN conference. I have also participated in the Singapore Physics Olympiad and Singapore Mathematics Olympiad, and also decided to take H3 Physics to further my knowledge. As a member of the Science Leaders’ Academy, I actively contribute to initiatives promoting science education and awareness. Beyond academics, I’ve developed strong teaching skills through leadership and mentoring roles, enabling me to help students grasp complex concepts and achieve their goals. Teaching Experience I have extensive experience working with students of varying abilities and learning styles, which has sharpened my ability to adapt my teaching to individual needs: Teaching My Sister and Other Secondary Students: Being familiar with secondary school content, I’ve helped my sister and other students improve their understanding of science and mathematics. Through patient and step-by-step explanations, I’ve seen their confidence and academic performance grow. Science Explorers: As the founder of this weekly tutoring program for Primary 6 students, I designed tailored materials to match each student’s pace—whether for conceptual understanding or intensive revision during exam periods. Reading Wonders: this self-initiated VIA project for underprivileged Primary 1 students, I developed specialized resources and teaching methods to fit them

I started teaching private tuition since 2024 and these are the students Icurrently have 1 sec 2 emath 1 sec 3 Emath 1 sec 4 emaths and combine science (Chem/physics) I teach classes at a Tuition centre as well. I currently have 3 pure chem students 2 combine science students 4 sec 4/5 emath students I have attained edusave bursaries and scholarship for my good results as well. For O lvls I scored A2 for emath and Amath and A1 for combine science. I went on to take A levels and got A for H2 math and B for H1 physics.Since I'm currently tutoring, I am well versed with the syllabus and most of my students attain big improvements and scoring B3-A2 grades

- I volunteer as a tutor at a tuition centre and have taught students ranging from P6 - Sec 4 - My method for tutoring is explaining the materials in different ways to help the student understand it better. I also encourage them to redo the questions they were initially stuck on to ensure full understanding of the question and method before proceeding on. I am patient when explaining as i understand that different students have different learning pace. - Achieved Edusave awards in Primary and Secondary school.
