Experience

Previously, I had taught at a nearby tuition center for a short 3 months. As my mother is currently a certified tuition teacher at a tuition center, I was given an opportunity to be a relief teacher for a few primary school students.

I am a believer of doing past year papers/ previous papers from other schools. It is important to be exposed to different types of questions in order to expect the unexpected. However, it is important to note the understanding of the students and gauge his or her skills such that the student is not overworked.

Commitment

As I am awaiting the start of my university, I will be available from February to August. After August, I would only be able to tutor during the weekends due to studies and other commitments.

Experience

I currently have 0 tutees. I graduated from Dunman High and have been the top 25% of the level for the past two consecutive years. I have also been shortlisted to apply for early admission and scholarship to NTU and NUS. I strongly believe in adopting my teaching methods to every individual student. I would like to spark the joy of learning in my students by injecting some fun and extra information on the topics the student is learning, as well as relating it to his/her daily life and interests. I will also handpick assessment books for my students to practice, apart from their schoolwork.

Experience

The student I taught in 2019 scored A2 for Emaths, and A1 for sciences in O levels

I am dedicated, and patient. I will ensure lessons are meaningful and useful, customised to the needs of the student and family. Lessons will follow the syllabus from MOE closely. The MOE syllabus content and textbook will be used as a guide to teach. Assessment books will be used for practices, and school papers will be used for revision and timed practices.
